Want the opportunity to work on high profile developments within a Local Planning Authority in Surrey?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planner to join my clients' successful Development Management team on either an interim 3-6 contract or for a fixed period of up to 2 years .

As a Senior or Principal Planning Officer, you will be involved in determining applications for a range of planning applications of increasing complexity (complex minors to strategics) including sites within the Green Belt and within areas of high flood risk, as well as town centres and commercial areas. You will be expected to provide professional advice to planning officers, Councillors, agents and members of the public in respect of planning applications, planning conditions and pre-application schemes.

You will have the opportunity to present at Planning Committee and work as part of a team who continue to strive to improve. The post holder will also play a key role in supporting the management of the team and applications from candidates with management experience are welcomed.
