About the role
You will be managing the repair and maintenance of a portfolio of properties in excess of 10,000 homes. Your team will be diagnosing building defects, schedules of condition and drawing up specifications. You need to ensure the work is completed to the highest possible standards as well as managing relationships with contractors. The role will suit someone that can ensure that budgets are managed efficiently and fiancial targets are met. You will also lead in the management of insurance and disrepair cases
Ideally you'll have have a excellent diagnostic, management & budget management skills.You will need to have comprehensive experience in construction, with a wide understanding of construction issues and legislation. You need to have a track record of managing repair and maintenance services and drawing up specification of works. A HNC/HND in a construction related field is a minimum requirement.
