The role covers a geographic patch of circa 800 properties . You will be part of an experienced team of 6, including a senior surveyor/Repairs Manager.
You must have a technical background and be able to effectively diagnose maintenance issues, liaise with stakeholders and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Excellent customer service is paramount as you'lll be working in partnership with your tenants to deliver the various services.
You will also have social housing experience ideally, and have strong experience of relevant IT systems as well as have the hands on technical surveying experience.
The role will include and demonstrable experience must include;
-Identifying building defects & takes appropriate remedial action
-Ability to prepare schedules and prioritise work loads
-Carrying out pre & post inspections to ensure works meet contract standards
-Experience in IT Systems
-Customer focus & commitment to tenant participation
For this role my client requires a minimum of two years working within a property/maintenance services environment and have a sound understanding of the Housing Property sector, including responsive repairs
You will be working towards a HNC level qualification in surveying or property maintenance related subject.
