Working from home? Looking out the window thinking of what could be in 2021?
Imagine working on a beautiful riverside, amongst a mixture of listed buildings, more recent builds and a state-of-the-art new build.
You’ve just started your first day of work at a world-famous College.
The sun is shining and you’ve just concluded a meeting with the new maintenance team you manage, working out your new ppm cycle. COVID-19 processes are in place (as you’re overseeing them) and Summer is in swing – you’ve got all your compliance in order and the world is starting to feel much brighter.
Sounds good?
This could be you…
Reporting into the assistant bursar, you will have a team of 8 underneath you, and will be in a dialogue with any external consultants that may be on site regarding capital works. Responsible for the department, you will oversee all Building Services across the college, and a background within the construction industry (alongside lots of health & safety experience – ideally a NEBOSH) will be needed.
The college has a rich tradition and requires somebody who has the ability to foster quality working relationships, manage tricky stakeholders and can galvanise a team without interrupting the traditions of the college.
This role is moving fast, so it is a big help if you’re on a months’ notice.
