Are you looking for a new position with a Local Authority as a Town Planning Enforcement Officer? Then this might be right up your street.
If the answer is yes, then our authorities need you to join their teams due to an increase in the number of cases being raised with them.
As is the case with the “new normal”, you will have a large degree of remote working, perfect for keeping an eye on the kids or the cat. The rates are negotiable depending on your experience and on completion of an interview.
You will be handling a split of general caseload work, investigations, appeals, inquiries and prosecutions.
We are available to chat if you have previous Local Authority Planning Enforcement experience and love adapting to new situations as this is a big part of the role.
As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will be…
- Taking on a range of Enforcement cases, not just one specific investigation, so your days will always be different.
- Conducting site visits.
- Conducting prosecutions.
- Liaising with members of the public.
- Drafting notices and preparing written evidence.
- Advising other members of the Development Management team on decisions.
If you are PACE trained then our authorities would really like this, also, if you really enjoy mentoring junior members of staff, then this role would give you plenty of opportunities to explore this.
Contracts range from 3 to 12 months and you would be able to start as soon as you would be able too.
Ok, what do I need to do next?
This is the easy bit.
Please give us a call, at a time that suits you, on 020 7766 9075 and ask for the Town Planning team quoting ‘Planning Enforcement Officer’.
If you have an updated CV then please drop me an email with a copy to firstname.lastname@example.org if your CV isn’t up to date, no worries. Just send across what you have and we can work on it together.
