Our client, a Berkshire based Local Authority are on the lookout for a Rough Sleeper Outreach Worker to join their brand new team

They have some fantastic services and organisations that are working incredibly hard to tackle and prevent rough sleeping in the borough, however they are now looking at new avenues following on from receiving funding to tackle rough sleeping

Our client are now seeking to appoint a Rough Sleeper Outreach Worker who has the skills, qualities and experience that are needed to maximise their impact and effectiveness, and improve outcomes.

To meet the requirements of this key role

  • Friendly, impartial and approachable, you will inspire an innovative and inclusive, solution-focused, multi-agency approach.
  • In order to succeed, you will need to be an excellent team player, understand the challenges facing homeless people, have the ability to gather and interpret data and information, and have experience of working with people who are sleeping rough, ex-offenders and/or people with substance misuse or mental health issues.
  • A previous background working within a supported housing role, charity, or working as a support worker with a variety of client groups (including mental health, homeless, ex offenders, substance misuse)
