A Local Authority based in Essex is seeking an experienced Repairs Administrator to assist their Repairs and Maintenance Team.
The role itself:
- Diagnose repairs on the phone
- Raise works order and book in appointments
- Provide general support to the Housing Maintenance team
- Chase outstanding repairs and liaise with contractors
- Maintain an accurate record of tenant records
- Update the database and spreadsheets
The ideal candidate:
- Must have a background within housing
- Excellent knowledge of repairs and maintenance
- Good technical vocabulary
- Excellent IT skills including excel
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good organisational skills and time keeping
