My client is a leading university with a well-functioning in house maintenance team, it leads a committed programme to continually developing its students and this is seen within the estates department – consistently evolving and refurbishing buildings and campuses in order to maintain academic quality and promote a vibrant working environment.
As Maintenance Manager, you will manage an in-house team, overseeing the levels of work and managing workloads, as well as ensuring the team is fully understanding of specification and job roles. You will procure contracts and manage these as and when needed, whilst liaising between directors and contractors in order to ensure SLA’s are in place and works are completed to quality compliant standards.
The ideal candidate would have worked within the education sector, with a HNC qualification or equivalent. Furthermore, experience working within similar roles would be vital – ideally you are from a maintenance or building services background – listed building experience would be preferred. In general, a strong maintenance manager with a positive management style and consistent hard services experience would be the ideal candidate.
This package comes with great benefits and is offering between £40-50,000
