A local authority in East Anglia is looking for an Interim Technical Project Manager to join their IT team.
In this role you will be managing multiple projects over the course of the 6-month contract. These projects will vary in terms of their specific IT area, but will include working with Dynamics 365, so experience here will be helpful.
You will be working with multiple technologies and your knowledge will be key to how and what tech is used for each project. As such, strong technical knowledge is essential for this role.
As this is a project manager role, key responsibilities will include creating details plans, assigning resources, setting timescales and keeping stakeholders informed as to progress. Additionally, you will be creating business cases and project initiation documents for all new projects.
The projects team will be led by you, so you will need to ensure that all tasks are assigned and completed on time by your team.
This local authority is always looking to improve their IT service, so you will be involved with improving processes and making recommendations.
If you have experience working with or are certified in Prince2, that will go a long way as this is the Local Authority’s chosen methodology.
