Housing Advice Officer (Register)

Rate: £21.00ph Umbrella / £16.61ph PAYE
In line the council’s ongoing aim of providing the best service for clients seeking Housing this organisation is looking for a Housing Needs Officer to conduct pre-tenancy assessments of applications for the Housing register. It is a 3-month temporary contract with the likelihood of an extension.
Offering advice on clients applications to the Housing Register will be the primary focus of the role, hence it is important that you have good communication skills to convey the client’s options. In addition your written communication must be of a high enough standard to write letters to applicants informing them of their application progression. Collaborating with other agencies will be key to this role as well as working in line with the council’s policies and procedures.
