The General Practice division is a well-established team within The Oyster Partnership, who over the last four years have successfully recruited into Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Central Government and Consultancies. The most common role that we recruit for is an Estates Surveyor working within the public sector. Our clients all offer flexible working and pay competitive hourly/daily rates.

What your day will look like:
As an Estates Surveyor your role will be to manage a commercial property portfolio for a client, ensuring that income is being maximised. You will also be tasked with seeking out new opportunities for the portfolio that will generate new revenue through acquiring or disposing of assets.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Rent reviews and lease renewals
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Dealing with Landlord & Tenant matters
- Asset valuations
Our clients like it that as a General Practice Estates Surveyor you have a varied background within this field and ideally, you will have some public sector experience.
You’ll be at an advantage if you are Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
Now is a great time to work within the public sector as they are still recruiting throughout this pandemic and are undertaking interesting projects. The majority of these roles will all be remote working and you will be set up with a laptop. Interviews are taking place via video calls.
