Are you ready to add “Chartered” to your “Building Surveyor” title?

Tired of employers’ empty promises to fund your APC?

The Salvation Army are different.

As one of the most well-known and leading Charities, they pride themselves in giving back to society’s most marginalised.

Their movement has spread to over 130 countries, and they have a property portfolio made up of over 3,000 in the UK alone including Homeless Accommodation, Older People’s Homes, and even farms.

With constant growth plans, they are looking for an empathetic Building Surveyor to help maintain their diverse portfolio.

Could that be you?

Using your planned preventative maintenance experience managing multiple projects, you’ll help to maintain a diverse portfolio of Churches, domestic properties, social centres, commercial space and retail shops, as well as taking a lead role on managing projects under £300,000.

Strong liaison skills at all levels are also key as you’ll be liaising with not only the Property Team, but with other teams internally as well as external consultants and stakeholders. You will also have thorough understanding of a property database system, preferably Kykloud.

Being a part of The Salvation Army means more than just a competitive salary. It means homebased working, generous pension, and annual leave, as well as a company car.

But most importantly to you, they’re able to fully support and fund any progression opportunities such as memberships, charterships, qualifications etc, and give you the opportunity to work Client Side for a different meaning and purpose.

If you’re ready to take that next career step, or know someone who is, apply now or drop me a message on LinkedIn (Sasha Brown) and we can have a chat.

Oyster Partnership have partnered exclusively with The Salvation Army. Any direct or third-party applications will be forwarded to Oyster Partnership.
