Adult Social Care Locum

An Adult Social Care Locum is required to assist the Legal team in a South-West Local Authority. This role can be carried out from the comfort of your own home as it is fully remote working including remote hearings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting advocacy as required and dealing with a mixed caseload of adult care matters including Court of Protection, Mental Capacity and Mental Health Act matters.

The Local Authority will require the individual to deliver timely and effective legal advice and assistance on all Adult Social Care matters. The candidate will independently manage their own and provide supervisory support.

Rate: £40+ an hour

Duration: 3 Month’s initially

Full-time hours

Job Requirements:

You must be able to work both independently and as part of a professional team. You must be able to manage conflicting priorities to deadlines, as well as provide support on all Adult Social Care Matters.

The workload is varied and interesting and you will be providing professional and important legal advice.

It is necessary that you have previous experience working within a Local Authority.

The role is 100% remote working.
