Working as a Human Resources Advisor
Similarly to an Employee Relation Specialist, an HR Advisor is there to be an advocate for both employee and manager in cases where there may be a dispute or grievance. HR Advisors have to be very up to date with the latest workplace legislation and are usually the first point of call for all staff member queries.
The role of a Human Resources Advisor includes:
- Overseeing the entire employee lifecycle
- Writing job adverts and assisting with recruitment
- Onboarding new employees
- Creating and managing benefit packages
- Managing payroll
- Mediating employee and management grievances
Qualifications & Experience
Experience within the HR field is absolutely necessary for a contractor role. This is a generalist role so understanding all aspects of HR in detail is key.
Salary
Contractors: £150 – £200 per day
