EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH: Kane Pfeiffer
Kane Pfeiffer has been chosen as our most recent Employee of the Month for his hard work, dedication and team player attitude. We’ve been talking to him about his journey in recruitment over the last 12 months.
How long have you worked at Oyster?
It’s been just over a year now, I joined 20th March 2017. It’s gone very quickly!
What were you doing prior to Oyster?
I was studying Architecture at University of Portsmouth.
What did you think of the recruitment process?
The interview process was very interesting, I had multiple stage interviews and met with a lot of people. The more I came back the more I wanted to join!
To be honest I had no idea what recruitment was a couple of months before joining Oyster, I left university and didn’t know what the next step would be. I did my research and had a couple of interviews to get a better insight to the sector. I liked what I was hearing and decided that this was a direction for me. I got a position at Oyster and haven’t looked back since.
What do you like the most about recruitment so far?
Building relationships and friendships with colleagues, clients and candidates. I also really enjoy the benefits you get in return for the effort you put into your work.
What do you like the most about Oyster?
The people. Even when I interviewed the people were different from the other agencies I interviewed at.
What desk are you on?
What advice would you give to future trainee recruitment consultants?
Recruitment isn’t easy, it has its ups and downs but if you ride the wave its rewards are endless.
