The role of a Commercial Property Solicitor
A Commercial Property Solicitor takes care of all legal aspects of selling or buying Commercial Property.
They work with a wide range of organisations such as developers, governments, landowners, public bodies, including domestic and international clients.
The role of a Commercial Property Solicitor includes:
- Negotiating property transactions
- Making agreements for investments
- Preparing documentation for transaction
- Checking & confirming the seller’s rights to sell the property
- Client care
- Building relationships
- Advising HNW investors & corporate clients
- Drafting & negotiating leases and licenses
Qualifications & Experience
As a solicitor, you’ll have fantastic career progression opportunities. When it comes to the law sector there are many different routes you can take. You can choose to work for a small law firm, the government, local authorities, charity or large private law firms.
Although there are ample opportunities to train and specialise, all roles require a law degree or similar.
Contractors: £30 – £45 per hour
