General Practice Recruitment Specialist Alexandra Wibroe promoted to Senior Consultant!

Our General Practice Recruitment Specialist Alexandra Wibroe joined Oyster Partnership in 2016 after interviewing at various different recruitment agencies. It was Oyster’s people that really sold the position to her and she hasn’t looked back since. Alexandra is articulate, smart and has a great personality that shines through when working with clients and professionals all over the UK.

With hard work, patience and dedication to her career, she has had the recent promotion to Senior Consultant which is very well-deserved! Below Ali reveals the reasons why Oyster has been a career of progression for her so far and what she hopes to achieve in the coming years!

  1. When did you first join Oyster Partnership?

I first joined Oyster Partnership in September 2016. Two years later I have grown loads in my career! I have learnt loads about the property sector, made some great memories; of course along with this life-long friends and I feel that everything career wise is going great for me.

  1. What made you choose Oyster Partnership for your future career?

I was looking at a variety of different recruitment agencies who specialised in diverse industries, and I was offered a few roles to choose from, however I decided on Oyster due to its people and the positive vibe I felt from first walking into their HQ. I spent two days in the office meeting lots of the staff who all made me feel really relaxed and comfortable and that is so important to me when starting a new job and doing well.

  1. Tell us about your career journey so far?

I’ve had a lot of ups and downs so far, especially starting a new desk which was extremely difficult and I needed to be patient and know that the hard work would eventually pay off. However, the last year has made a dramatic difference and I am seeing the results I had hoped for. The last 12 months has been so enjoyable and I’ve noticed all the ground work I did in my first year starting to show in my success now.

  1. Do you have any tips for those aspiring to be successful working in recruitment?

The best advice I could give is to be patient. This is something people always told me but I can’t express how important it is. If you work hard enough and pursue something you will always get results in the end, so never give up!

  1. What’s your next goal now you have had this promotion?

My next goal is to become a Principal Consultant and grow the General Practice desk with new hires, to ensure that this team will be the number one go-to for professionals and clients seeking new roles. I’d also like to expand into different sectors for property which will allow more people to join us at Oyster Partnership as we continue to grow as a business. It’s exciting times ahead…
