Bernadette Ganaden
Bernadette (known by all as Berny) joined our internal finance team at Oyster in 2022 and since she stepped foot in the office, has been a consistently sunny, lovely presence to have around. I know normally ‘accounts’ and ‘lively’ don’t go hand-in-hand, but Berny loves to get along with everyone and have a good time. And I guess also Maths? I know, an oxymoron.
What makes Bernadette good at her job?
Berny is the Accounts Queries Queen – if you’ve got a question about Timesheet Portal or Payroll, there’s no one better to ask. She has an unrivalled attention to detail, a constant willingness to push herself and grow, and impressive organisation skills. Combine that with the fact that she never half-does a task, and the result? She’s very good at her job.
Where is Bernadette going after work?
Most likely you’ll find Berny at a Comic Con event in London, Cosplaying, or practicing her Japanese, as she’s hoping to become one day fluent. Which makes sense since Japanese Anime is her all-time favourite (well, that and the Spongebob Squarepants Movie, which honestly, I just don’t know why you’d admit to. Now the whole world knows).
